Lothar Mauch Comes to Movie Night

CMRCA had the great honor of hosting world-renowned mountaineer Lothar Mauch at a special screening of Au-Dela des Cimes (Beyond the Summits), a film celebrating the unmatched alpine climbing career of Catherine Destivelle.

Cut from 86 hours of helicopter footage from the summits of the French Alps, the movie was totally spectacular. Lothar's words about what it was like to be in such a film were even more inspiring. The Chiang Mai climbing community sends our thanks to Lothar for a truly fantastic evening!
