Rise to the Challenge Adventure Race

Does your team have what it takes?

Prepare to embark on an adventure that takes your group on a collaborative race through a variety of outdoor locations. Split into small teams, your group will engage in a challenge where the objective is to navigate to and locate race checkpoints, solve intricate team challenges, compete against other teams, record the information on the master sheet and then travel to the next checkpoint.

The total number of checkpoints will be determined by the amount of time allotted and the physical challenge desired.  The checkpoints combine cognitive and physical challenges, incorporate various specific location resources and are customized to fulfil your company's specific goals. Strategic planning, leadership, decision–making, and high team performance are critical to the success of this event.

Teams use maps to find hidden caches and must develop a plan for how they will navigate the course to optimize their time and efficiency.  GPS units are available as a program add-on.  In the designated timeframe, it is typically unlikely that the teams will be able to reach all the checkpoints. This requires communication and efficiency in executing the plan to optimize the performance overall.

There will be roadblocks, detours and cunning problem solving challenges throughout the afternoon that will test your group to maximize their team performance.  Program design depends on the time of year, duration of the event, and physical ability of the group.  CMRCA will work in collaboration with your group to incorporate activities that fit your specific requirements.
