Assistant Instructor
Danai Chaisarn (Taw) has been part of the CMRCA community since 2006. His impressive stature and friendly demeanor have earned him the ironic nickname "Taw Noi" or Little Taw. In the great tradition of "Little John" from Robin Hood, Taw's playful confidence lifts the spirits (and sometimes the bodies) of everyone in our band of "outlaws."
Excitement and challenge are Taw's favorite things about climbing. His instruction style is humorous and personable. It is impossible not to have fun when climbing with Taw. By day, Taw introduces students to the thrills and skills involved in climbing at Crazy Horse Buttress and the CMRCA Bouldering Wall. By night, he is an accomplished musician with gigs all over Chiang Mai. He plays drums, acoustic and electric guitar, bass guitar, and violin.
Taw holds a bachelor's degree in Journalism from Chiang Mai Rajabhat University.
