"The learning that occurs within the students that participate (and ALL my students participate) is massive and often life-changing. Students learn a great deal about rock-climbing, caving and abseiling, about the geography and geology, about Thai culture, about team-work, about their individual strengths and weaknesses, about goal-setting, about supporting others, about trust and about overcoming fears. The learning is enormous and as a teacher – this is what I am primarily looking for in during a school outing." - Luke Watson, Yew Chung International School of Shanghai, CAS Coordinator and Overnight Field Trip Coordinator
The American Community School of Abu Dhabi took a trip to Chiang Mai with 85 8th grade students and their chaperones. We spent two unforgettable days with CMRCA caving and rock climbing.
The staff were professional and knowledgeable while they guided our students through the caving and rock climbing activities. The students were encouraged to explore their physical and mental limits in a safe and supportive environment.
Without exaggeration, our time with CMRCA was the highlight of our trip for the vast majority of the students on the trip. We will be back next year!
