After spending two years in the Royal Thai Army, Taw has followed in big sister Kat's footsteps and is quickly becoming one of the strongest climbers in Chiang Mai. Taw joined the CMRCA guiding team in April of 2004 and has quickly improved becoming one of our strongest instructors

Taw's attention to detail and student's needs make him an incredible instructor. His calm and patient demeanor help to create a comfortable learning environment for all rock climbing students.

Taw has also begun to compete on the national level, placing in the top 10 at the recent Sirikit Convention Center Bouldering Competition in May of 2005. Taw has been trained as a competition belayer by the UIAA and served as a belayer during the Asian Indoor Games in Bangkok in the year 2005.

Taw is certified in Wilderness First Aid and Safety and CPR and has significant experience in emergency care from time spent working in an ambulance in Chiang Rai before he joined the CMRCA team.

All of our staff/guides are held to stringent company standards and are tested regularly on their knowledge of advanced climbing techniques and first aid safety. We are constantly striving to improve.
