3-Day Climbing Foundations

Spend 3 days with us learning the essential skills to go climbing outside on your own.

The 3 day climbing foundations follows the CMRCA progression of climbing and is designed to teach beginner climbers the essential skills needed to climb on their own.

On day one you and other participants will join us for our Introduction to Rock Climbing course where our goal is to get you out on the rock to experience and become familiar climbing and rappelling outside.  On day one you will become a top roping expert!

Introduction to Rock Climbing

Day 2 is a little more technical with our Lead Belay and Cleaning Anchors course.  On this day you and other participants will develop the skills necessary to become the perfect climbing partner to maximize the potential for a day of climbing outdoors.  If you can master these skills you will be the perfect partner for any lead climber.

Lead Belay and Cleaning Anchors

Now that you have learned the foundational skills for rock climbing outdoors, day 3 is the time to review, practice, and master those skills with a private guide.  Spend the day 1 on 1 with one of our guide team to ask any extra questions you have.

Safe, highly trained, lead climbing experience

While this group costs more than the competitors group, I was able to observe Gee's technique against the other outfits guides and Gee was much safer and practiced under the Colorado Mountain School (US) standards.

CMRCA is the best!

I can say that going out to Crazy Horse Was by far one of the highlights of my trip.

Safe, professional and fun

Crazy Horse is a great location to do a climbing course and CMRCA have great guides.
