Technical Rope Rescue – Operations Level

The TRR:OL course prepares rescuers to effectively handle low angle and assist high angle emergency situations where rope and cable systems are required.

Summary

This 3-day course provides participants with the fundamentals of rope rescue in the low-angle environment. Participants learn and practice skills such as preplanning and size-up of rope rescue operations, knots, anchor systems, belay operations, ascending and descending lines, mechanical advantage systems, patient packaging & litter attending. Participants learn how to safely navigate low-angle or over-the-bank rescue situations and assist rescuers in high-angle environments.

This Rescue 3 International training course provides a 3-year certification and online access to the Rescue 3 International certified members page.

  • Minimum age: 18.
