This course prepares workers to effectively handle emergency situations in a tower environment.

Summary

Tower Safety and Rescue for the Tower Worker is designed to prepare individuals familiar with tower operations to perform rescues for themselves and their coworkers in an emergency. Topics include basic and specialized equipment, ropes and rigging, safety considerations, scene management and organizations, simple lowering of injured workers, belaying lowering and raising systems and simple rappels in a tower environment.

  • Minimum age: 18
  • Tower work experience

  • Technical Rope Rescue Operations Level (TRROL)
  • Technical Rope Rescue Technician Level (TRRTL)
