Safety & Conduct

  • Do not skip bolts. No free soloing.
  • Use certified equipment and appropriate systems; helmets are strongly recommended.
  • No route development or alteration(no bolting, no hardware changes, no rock/vegetation removal) without written permission from the military or authorized managers.
  • Know your limits. If unsure, climb with experienced partners or hire qualified professionals.
  • Be considerate. Unsafe behavior risks accidents and jeopardizes access for the whole community.
  • Newer, remote venue: Services are limited and response times can be longer. Carry extra water and a robust first‑aid kit; plan conservatively.
  • Helmets strongly recommended: Loose rock is possible in sections; manage parties carefully and avoid stacking climbers below.
  • Bees: Seasonal sweat bees can be present. Usually a nuisance, but if you have a bee allergy, take precautions and carry appropriate medication.
  • Park only in designated spaces; do not block the road, emergency routes or gates.

*climb at your own risk. Adventure activities have inherent hazards. By entering the area you acknowledge these risks and agree to follow all regulations and Army instructions.*
