Announcing a special community event this Saturday, July 30!
As some of you know, C Cubed members Gaston and Laurence work for a NGO called the Constellation (www.communitylifecompetence.org). They are specialized in strength-based facilitation of community processes. The Constellation worked with groups in 28 countries so far on a variety of issues (e.g. HIV, malaria, peace, organizational competence etc).
On Saturday 30 July, three trainees from Singapore will come to learn more about this methodology. Gaston and Laurence would like the visitors to discover the strengths of some Thai communities and how they respond to the challenges they face. Besides visiting some Thai villages that weekend, they would also like to visit the vibrant climbing community.
The visit will be a simple informal encounter in which we’ll get to know each other better. We can share our strengths and our accomplishments in the past. If time allows, we can engage in an exercise called ‘Dreambuilding’ to visualize together how we would like the climbing community to look like in 10 years time.
