CMRCA Completes Wilderness Advanced First Aid

Decreasing AVPU? MOI spine? No worries! CMRCA knows what to do when RICE is not enough.

In August 2009 our staff completed a 40-hour course in Wilderness Advanced First Aid. CMRCA requires all of our staff to be trained in basic first aid and CPR. We work with international organizations such as Wilderness Medical Associates to bring instructors to Thailand. Our goal is to provide advanced first aid courses like WAFA every two years. These are essential skills for all outdoorspeople! We are committed to upholding international safety standards wherever we climb, guide, travel, and explore throughout the world.

Check out this long-awaited movie of the classroom sessions, simulations, and C-collar dance parties that made this such a powerful experience. Wilderness medicine was never so much fun!
